{racingfixtures|Catterickbridge}
Catterick Bridge is a popular racecourse near the village of Catterick in North Yorkshire. Easily accessed via the A1 and just 5 miles south of Scotch Corner, Catterick Racing provides a series of National Hunt and flat races which are well attended. The racecourse has a reputation for providing a friendly atmosphere and good racing over the sharp, left-handed track, an oval of just over a mile.

Catterick Racing, inside rail A good lie and nimble horse offer a good option for the punter with very low draws having a particular advantage over the shorter distances, especially on good or firm ground. Over 7 furlongs and it’s anyone’s race. The course is popular with local trainers and there is a real local feel to the racecourse which makes for very pleasant North Yorkshire experience for visitors, holidaymakers and good days out.

Catterick Racing has two enclosure options for racegoers, the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure and the Course Enclosure. The Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure offers access to all the main facilities. These include the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure for all those pre- and post-race activities and sights. There is also the Totesport Betting Shop and Tote Credit Club, and of course superb panoramic viewing over the course and track.

Viewing is available from either of the two tiers of the grandstand or the roof-top terrace, which is situated above the cafeteria.

In addition to the self-service cafeteria the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure contains a good selection of food and beverage outlets. Three course dining in style is provided by the Restaurant while hot and cold snacks are available from Gods Solution Bar and Champions Bar and Buffet. Further bar options are found in the betting shops and Parade Ring.

The Course Enclosure offers viewing from the centre of the Catterick racing track. Food and drink outlets are available and a children’s playground enhances the fun aspect of a family day out. During summer holidays and on Saturday afternoons further family oriented attractions are provided and while the kids are being entertained there are a number of Totepool betting facilities and on course bookmakers to maintain the thrill of a day at the races.

Admission to the Grandstand Enclosure is £14.00 and for the Course Enclosure, £4.00. Those in the Course Enclosure can purchase an upgrade to the Grandstand Enclosure on the day for £10.00. Accompanied children under 16 can access any enclosure for free and with ample free parking too, fun days out at Catterick Racing are an affordable leisure option for all the family. Parties of 6 or more can additionally enjoy a discount when tickets are booked in advance.
